Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are numerous methods to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. When a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
